Featuring: Keith & Kristyn Getty & Band
The Gettys are Irish modern-day hymn writers, recording and performing artists. Their passion is developing inspirational modern hymns that teach the truths of the Bible for multi-generational worship.
Keith has teamed with Stuart Townend to write the widely-used modern hymns "In Christ Alone" and "The Power of the Cross." He has written scores of other hymns, songs and musicals. Keith is also a producer of shows and albums and as a scorewriter has worked with James Galway, Clannad's Maire Brennan, Graham Kendrick, the London Community Gospel Choir, and Dove award winner Ginny Owens.
Kristyn is a singer-songwriter, as well. Together they have collaborated on a wide variety of music projects for the church. They are touring the U.S.A. to introduce their music to an American audience.
Messiah College is pleased and fortunate to have the Gettys on-campus to provide both opening worship and a workshop on worship during the Youth Workers Conference and an evening worship concert that is open to the public.
