Profile

George Scott is an ordained Lutheran minister, retired intelligence officer, and former candidate for US Congress and PA State Senate. George served 20 years on active duty in the US Army to include five years overseas in Jordan, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Korea. He deployed for Operations Just Cause (Panama), Desert Shield/Desert Storm (Saudi Arabia/Iraq), and Enduring Freedom (Kuwait). George later served in the CIA as a Staff Operations Officer; in Iraq as a Program Manager at MNF-I’s Counterinsurgency Center for Excellence; and in the Joint IED Defeat Organization as the Chief of Red Team at the Counter-IED Operational Integration Center. In ministry, George currently serves as the pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lemoyne, and previously as pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in East Berlin. George and his wife, Donna, live in Dillsburg, PA. They have four grown children yet are kept busy by three old dogs and one cool cat.
