Profile

I am passionate about education and clinical work in psychology. As a clinician, I have primarily worked in community mental health settings with underserved priority populations with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses. I have advanced training in trauma-focused psychotherapy and the treatment of first episode psychosis. I began working as an adjunct instructor in 2012 and have since taught at Universities in Texas and in Pennsylvania. As an instructor, my primary goal is to engage my students in the process of learning, weaving past clinical experience and real-world examples into my lectures and allowing students to become active participants in their education. I am excited to be a part of the Messiah University community!
