Profile

Dr. Carissa Bowersox is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist who is currently employed as a district-level school psychologist in a rural school district in PA. She has teaching experience in undergraduate psychology and in doctoral-level school psychology. Her professional activities include academic and behavioral consultation and intervention as well as psychoeducational assessment and evaluation. She is an adjunct instructor in Messiah College’s online graduate counseling program. Her research interests include positive behavior interventions and supports, psychometric properties of educational and psychological tasks and measures, and the effectiveness of evidence-based practices in the school setting. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons.
