Dr. Julie Gomboc-Hellam is the director of student services and compliance in the School of Graduate and Professional Studies. Serving in this role, she supports students and serves as a liaison with multiple departments including mental health counseling, academic advising/success coaching, academic accessibility, writing support, campus ministry, and health services. She provides oversight to graduate and ADP new student orientations. Julie coordinates University-wide state authorization compliance and ensues that the University graduate programs are in compliance with Middle States Accreditation, PA Department of Education and State Authorization regulations. She is a member of the Community of Educators and is serving on COE Senate, where she previously served on the Steering Committee. Julie's previous experience includes a ranked faculty position in the PA state system of education teaching interior design, curriculum design, program development, accreditation, online education, teaching methodologies, student recruitment, and academic advising.
Julie serves as a board member for the Middletown Area School District. She was previously a liaison for the Pennsylvania School Boards Association and Harrisburg Area Community College and has also served on the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary school board. She also serves on the Pediatric Advisory Board with the Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center Children's Hospital.
