  • Chad Barger is a nonprofit fundraising consultant and board trainer. Chad teaches charities how to optimize their fundraising, so they can focus on changing the world.
  • He is the founder and managing director of the firm Productive Fundraising which focuses on implementing simple, effective fundraising systems as well as strategies to strengthen nonprofit boards of directors.
  • From 2008 to 2018, Chad served as the Executive Director of the Cultural Enrichment Fund, the Harrisburg region's united fund for the arts.
  • Chad is a Master Trainer for the Association of Fundraising Professionals
  • He earned his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential, the first globally-recognized credential for fundraising professionals, in 2007, and is currently pursuing is Advanced Certified Fund Raising Executive (ACFRE) credential.
  • When not teaching charities how to fundraise more efficiently or raising dollars for the arts in Harrisburg, Chad is typically spending quality time with his family, serving as quartermaster for Cub Scout Pack 279, cheering the Steelers on to their seventh ring, playing trombone with No Last Call, Harrisburg’s hit-and-run street band, or rucking (getting in a workout by hiking with a heavy pack on his back).
