Profile

Stephanie DePalmer, Ed.D., LPC, NCC, is proud to serve as a full-time faculty member in the School Counseling Track in the Graduate School of Counseling at Messiah University. Formerly, she was a secondary school counselor in Central PA for seven years, and she continues to enjoy operating a small private practice doing outpatient therapy. She is a certified counselor in complex trauma with advanced training in eye-movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR). Her background also includes clinical experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, and mobile family therapy. She is a professional member of ASCA, PSCA, ACA, PCA, ACES, and NARACES, and she serves as the Membership Co-Chair for PCA and the Chair of the Wellness Committee for ACES. Her professional interests include diversity, equity, and inclusion, systems work, wellness, and developmental trauma. Stephanie lives in Central PA with her husband and golden retriever, where together they love investing in good relationships, good food, and good health!
