Dr. Allison N. Ash has worked as a higher education professional for the past 15 years including Fuller Theological Seminary, Azusa Pacific University, and Wheaton College where she was the Dean of Student Care and Graduate Student Life. Over Allison’s diverse career in higher education, she has worked in and supervised many areas of student affairs at the undergraduate and graduate level including medical and mental health services, academic and disability services, Title IX, campus spirituality, career development, judicial affairs, student government, and policy formation. She is currently an adjunct professor at Fuller Theological Seminary, Wheaton College, and Messiah College, where she teaches classes on leadership and diversity, and she serves as the chair for doctoral students at Maryville University. Allison has several publications including “The Paradox of Faith: White Administrators and Anti-Racism Advocacy in Christian Higher Education” published in Christian Higher Education (2017). She is a section co-editor and chapter contributor for the book Diversity Matters: Race, Ethnicity, & the Future of Christian Higher Education (Abilene Christian University Press, 2017), and is co-author of the book White Jesus: The Architecture of Racism in Religion and Education (Peter Lang, 2018). She has spoken nationally and internationally at conferences.
