Dr. Warden has been a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor since 2000 and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor since 2012. She earned her MA in Counseling from Wake Forest University in 1998 and her PhD in Counseling and Counselor Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2009. She has co-authored two parenting books with NY Times Best-Selling author, Dr. Gary Chapman. Shannon and her husband, Stephen, have three children: Avery, Carson, and Presley. They live in North Carolina, where Shannon has a small private practice. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys playing games with her family, being outside, and watching old movies.
