Profile

Dr. Sarah N. Brant-Rajahn completed her Ph.D. in counseling and student personnel services/counselor education and supervision at University of Georgia. She completed her M.A. degree in counseling at Montclair State University and her B.S. degree in psychology at Virginia State University. She worked as a Professional School Counselor for seven years in metro-Atlanta. She has also worked in community and residential mental health settings providing crisis intervention and group counseling.

She currently serves as the Southern Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (SACES) co-chair. Her research and writing focuses on culturally responsive counseling, research, and advocacy; multicultural pedagogy and training; and inequities in school systems impacting student success.
