Profile

Judy Johnston, Ph.D., is a lifelong educator and champion of leadership development. As an educator, she has over 30 years of leadership experience and integrative learning focused on creating sustainable leadership roles for professionals from non-traditional backgrounds. She is a strong advocate for personal growth and dedicated to empowering people to reach their most significant potential by understanding that the essence of their leadership abilities as it occurs in their everyday life.

She is currently the Vice-President of Strategic Planning and Leadership Development for J2 Associates, a service-disabled veteran-owned small SBA8(a) company. She is active in her church, where she teaches Sunday School. She has held various board positions and is currently a founding board member of Seasons Village, a 5013C non-profit that partners with single mothers to create a strong foundation that supports intergenerational prosperity, and is Vice-Chair of BGH Foundation. This 5013C non-profit creates pathways to improve the health of women and girls of color.

Dr. Johnston is a mother of 5 adult children and resides in Raleigh, NC, with her husband, John.
