Profile
I am SO excited to be re-joining Messiah University, but this time in a teaching role! I graduated with my BSN from Messiah in 2012, and then completed the DNP-FNP program in 2020. I began my nursing career in the Emergency Department at Hershey Medical Center where I worked until I completed my graduate degree. My first NP position was in Correctional Medicine, and I have recently transitioned to a position at Lebanon Family Health where my focus is community health and prenatal care for uninsured or underinsured patients. When not caring for patients, I am spending time with my family. I am blessed to consider myself a "mom of all types". I have 3 kids; a 10 year old (step daughter), 3 year old (biological son), and 5 month old (adopted daughter). We love spending time outdoors camping and kayaking. The kids keep me pretty busy and occasionally tired, so you can always find me with a coffee in my hand. Cornerstone Coffeehouse (about 15min from campus) Honey Vanilla Latte is my absolute favorite!
