Profile
A native of Central Pennsylvania, Lee Philip has appeared in bass sections in a variety of premier orchestras in the United States including the Baltimore, Chicago, New World, Richmond, San Francisco and Utah Symphonies. As a student, Lee was a Young Artist Winner with the York Symphony and attended the prestigious Pacific Music Festival and Tanglewood Music Center. His major teachers include Duane Botterbusch, Paul Johnson, John Hood, and Peter Lloyd. Lee currently freelances and performs as a member of the York Symphony Orchestra and as Principal Bass of AIMS Graz.
