Faculty Research and Scholarship

o Dr. Dixon has presented at Evangelical Press Association national convention on “Print to Digital: Thinking Differently About the Same Story,” helping publishers who are transitioning from traditional print platforms to online formats think about how to leverage new media environments. He also presented content from that presentation in a webinar format for Magazine Training International, a publishing training ministry that supports Christina communication workers worldwide.
o He also partners with undergraduate students conducting research in Communication Senior Seminar course, and he helps them find opportunities to present their work at academic events such as National Conference for Undergraduate Research, the Johns Hopkins Conference for Undergraduate Research, and Messiah’s own annual Humanities Symposium
