Profile

Jodi grew up in nearby Hanover, PA. She is an alum of Messiah College where she completed degrees in both biology and chemistry and competed for the women’s basketball team.  Following graduation, she taught chemistry, biology and general science at Northern York High School and was the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Messiah College for five years before going to Penn State University to complete her Master’s degree. Jodi returned to Messiah College to teach in the Department of Natural Sciences and resumed her position as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. As of 2003, she began teaching in the newly formed Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. She has taught, coached and mentored many students and athletes fulfilling the college’s mission to develop students’ “maturity of intellect, character and Christian faith.”
