Dr. Jankouskas has over 30 years of clinical experience in pediatric nursing in a variety of healthcare settings and agencies around the United States. She maintains her vocation as a pediatric nurse at Penn State Children’s Hospital where she enjoys serving children and their families during health challenges. Dr. Jankouskas has 10 years of experience as a Clinical Nurse Educator in pediatric acute care, has been teaching at the undergraduate level since 2009 and at the graduate level since 2015 at Messiah University. Dr. Jankouskas received the 2009 Dissertation Award from the Eastern Nursing Research Society/Council for Advancement of Nursing Science. She is the lead author of several journal publications on simulation-based education applications and research.
