Interest and areas of expertise

Principle interests are in the sociology of religion, social theory, and cultural studies. Current projects include an exploration into motivation within mission activity and an introductory text book on the sociology of religion. He and his wife Kathy are keen organic gardeners and both enjoy listening to and playing music.
