Amanda works as the Nursing Education Professional Development (NEPD) liaison between the schools of nursing and PSHMC for clinical placement. She also helps counsel PSHMC staff who are looking to go back to school. In her previous NEPD role as Quality and Regulatory Nursing Professional Development Specialist, she was in charge of quality related education and helped with project planning, regulatory education and accreditation surveys participation, coordinating/creating education for new products being brought into the house, creating and running annual competency skills sessions and validator training, and creating and updating clinical practice polices that are relevant to nursing.
