Michele Szkolnicki is an accomplished Healthcare Executive with over 25 years of healthcare leadership experience that spans for-profit, not-for-profit, private equity, and academic settings in hospital, ambulatory and medical practice environments in both adult and pediatric medicine.
Michele is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at the Penn State Health, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center where she is responsible for the practice of nursing and has overall responsibility and accountability for the patient care provided in the institution. As a member of the executive team, she supports and facilitates an interdisciplinary team approach to the delivery of care which includes creating a nursing environment where collaboration is valued and excellence in clinical care, education, research, and community outreach is promoted and achieved. She develops and aligns nursing strategy to support overall hospital goals and takes accountability for providing effective and meaningful leadership to execute on key initiatives and assures the continued advancement of the profession of nursing at MSHMC.
