Centennial Celebrations: An Evening of Comedy with Jeff Allen

Jeff Allen

October 16, 2009

Brubaker Auditorium, Eisenhower Campus Center, 7:00 p.m.

Featuring a special Homecoming guest appearance by comedian Timmy Morgan (below), Messiah College Class of 2004

Messiah College will kick-off Centennial Homecoming Weekend with the family comedy of Jeff Allen. Jeff combines hilarious humor with inspiration in a style like no other Christian comedian working today.

Performing comedy for more than 20 years, Jeff and his work have been seen on every cable comedy show in the U.S. including Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend” and “VH1’s Standup Spotlight.” His one-hour Timmy Morganspecial, “Happy Wife, Happy Life,” aired on the Odyssey Channel and Family Net. He was a featured comedian at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and the Montreal Just for Laughs International Comedy Festival, the most prestigious comedy festivals in the world. He also headlined his own national comedy tour, “Jeff Allen & Friends: Funny People of Faith.” Known for his side-splitting observations about life, love, family, kids, and marriage — Jeff Allen is an entertaining part of Homecoming Weekend you won’t want to miss!

As a special Homecoming tribute, professional comedian and Messiah alumnus Timmy Morgan ’04 will perform the opening act for Jeff Allen.

This event is open to the public. Seating by ticket only. All tickets are $10 and are available beginning September 7 through the Messiah College Ticket Office, (717) 691-6036.  Or order tickets online.
