Compassion Forum Wins In Total Viewers and All Demos, Topping the Cable News Competition on Sunday, April 13

Sunday night's Compassion Forum at Messiah College with Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama moderated by CNN anchor Campbell Brown and Newsweek's Jon Meacham was the highest-rated program in cable news in all demos for the night with 1,880k total viewers and 543k 25-54 demo viewers from 8-10 p.m. FNC trailed with 838k in total viewers and 125k in 25-54 demo from 8-10p.m. while MSNBC followed with 368k total viewers and 193k demo viewers during the same time.

 

CNN also won prime time on Sunday evening among all cable nets with 1,618k total viewers and 455k 25-54 demo viewers while FNC followed with 833k in total viewers and 148k in the demo. MSNBC placed third with 408k in total viewers but ranked second in the 25-54 demo with 221k.

 

CNN's Route 2008 hosted by senior national correspondent John King posted an impressive 1,092k in total viewers and 275k in 25-54 from 10-11p.m, also winning the hour in total viewers. FNC's The Strategy Room posted 824k in total viewers and came in third in the 25-54 demo with 194k. MSNBC's Special: Conviction had 489k total viewers and 278k 25-54 demo viewers.
