The environmental science major curriculum will prepare students for students planning to enter the environmental job market or graduate programs in such fields as ecology, conservation biology, wildlife biology, ecology, environmental science, environmental law, environmental public policy, regional planning, landscape architecture, conservation biology, the marine sciences, etc. The curriculum is interdisciplinary, drawing heavily from biology and chemistry.
Students in the environmental science major are encouraged to participate in field research, internships, field courses at the AuSable Institute of Environmental Studies, and/or a semester abroad at the GoED Mekong program in Thailand and the Creation Care Study Program in Belize or New Zealand.
