The Office of the President is sponsoring a lecture series devoted to Messiah College’s 2018-19 academic year theme of Christian Higher Education for the Common Good.  This theme explores how incarnating our mission as a Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences in a rapidly changing and increasingly skeptical cultural context contributes to the common good of church and society. Specifically, this idea centers on a common good rooted in a Christ-centered commitment to the dignity, welfare and human flourishing of all our neighbors.  This lecture will be given by Dr. George Pickens, Professor of Theology and Mission/Director of the Program in Peace and Conflict Studies.
