Oakes Museum Science Class - Birds and Eggs

This class is for grades K-4th Birds, eggs, and nests, Oh my! Can you guess which birds have the largest and smallest eggs in the world? Where do birds lay their eggs, and how do they avoid predators? How do birds build their nests, why do they build them in different shapes, and what materials do they use? Using the museum's bird, egg, and nest collection we will explore the answers to these questions as we anticipate the arrival of the spring!
