Our academic programs
All of our majors offer you both rigorous coursework and hands-on experience in our cutting edge facilities and equipment as well as off-campus through internships. Our students also have the flexibility to major, minor, or study abroad. A number of students also complete projects of their own creation, work alongside professors on research studies, engage in service learning through some of their classes.
As a student in the Messiah University Department of Communication, you'll step into a world of possibilities, all built around our mission. Through a common core of courses, you'll learn to communicate ethically, listen effectively, and resolve issues graciously. Building on this strong foundation, you'll gain specialized knowledge and practical skills in one of six majors.
