PNC Student Lending Scholarship

The PNC Student Lending Scholarship Sweepstakes program is giving undergraduate students a chance to win $2,000 to spend on their education expenses. A total of $24,000 is awarded annually to eligible undergraduate students who have entered the sweepstakes through their Financial Literacy account: The drawing will be on December 1st, 2022


Completing the Dream Scholarship Program

The Sallie Mae Fund’s Completing the Dream Scholarship Program helps outstanding students from minority and other historically underserved communities complete their post-secondary education. Students in their final year who are facing financial challenges may apply to receive a one-time scholarship of up to $2,500 to help complete their post-secondary education program. Scholarship applications for AY 2022-23 will be accepted on a rolling basis or until scholarship dollars have been awarded.  Deadline:  August 31, 2022.

Atla Water Scholarship

Previously, our scholarship was limited to studies in Environmental Sciences and Sustainability. Beginning 2021, we are acknowledging that all disciplines must embrace sustainability concepts to ensure a thriving planet for generations to come. The winner of our AquaLiv Sustainability Scholarship receives $1,500 for education-related expenses including tuition, books, campus housing, and more. Two runners up will each be awarded $250. Students must be enrolled at an accredited school for at least one full calendar year to be eligible. Applicants apply by email with a short description of yourself and a 500-word essay on how you intend to use your education to promote sustainability.  Deadline:  November 15, 2022.


Black Students in STEM Scholarship

This scholarship will support one Black student majoring in STEM or planning to major in STEM.  One winner will receive $5,000. The recipient will be selected based on their answer to the question:  Why are you passtionate about STEM or entrepreneurship? Deadline:  March 4, 2022.

Dura-Pack Scholarship Award

The scholarship is open to students that are either entering or are already enrolled in an accredited college or university. As a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging bags and equipment, we are consistently striving to adopt and implement environmentally friendly manufacturing practices and have tailored our essay topics to reflect our “Green” initiatives. We are seeking to reward essay applicants $3,000 in scholarship funds. Applicants write a 500-word (minimum) essay on one of the writing prompts provided.  Deadlines:  April 1, 2022; August 1, 2022 & December 1, 2022.


Driver Education Initiative Award

National Driving and Traffic School is proud to announce their 2022 scholarship opportunity entitled “In the Driver’s Seat.” The company is seeking to reward essay applicants $3,000 in scholarships – for students entering college or already enrolled in a higher education institution – on the topic of being a safer driver. Applicants write a 750-word (minimum) essay addressing the questions asked. Each winner receives a $500 scholarship.  Deadlines:  August 1, 2022 & November 30, 2022.


AES Scholarship 2022

The consulting firm of AES Engineers is committed to continuing its support of higher education by providing scholarships to deserving students. This award is available to all students, regardless of their field of study. To be eligible, the student needs to answer the essay questions.  The $500 scholarship will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluating the essays that are submitted. Deadline:  October 8, 2022.

The Chairish "Design Your Future" Scholarship

Chairish is offering a scholarship designed to support students from diverse backgrounds and students who are majoring in design-related fields such as architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and engineering fields. Deadlines:  January 1 & June 30 (annually)  


$5,000 Scholarship from Discover Student Loans

American Association of University Women (AAUW) Harrisburg 2022-23 Scholarships

AAUW Harrisburg awards college scholarships to women from Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry County who are pursuing degrees in the coming academic year. Deadline:  July 15, 2022.

The Beverly J. Smith Memorial Scholarship ($2,500) will be awarded to a female resident of Dauphin, Cumberland, or Perry County who attends an accredited college or university in Pennsylvania in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. Requirements include completion of 60 credits, a minimum 3.40 GPA, demonstration of financial need, and enrollment as a full-time student for the 2022-23 academic year. 

The Member Memorial Scholarship ($1,500) will be awarded to a female resident of Dauphin, Cumberland, or Perry County who attends an accredited college or university in Pennsylvania in pursuit of an associate or bachelor’s degree. Requirements include completion of 15 credits, minimum 3.00 GPA, demonstration of financial need, and enrollment on at least a half-time basis (6 credits per term) for the 2022-23 academic year. 

The Ronald D. and Kathleen A. Krausse STEM Scholarship ($1,500) will be awarded to a female resident of Dauphin, Cumberland, or Perry County who attends an accredited college or university in Pennsylvania in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in a STEM major. Requirements include completion of 30 credits, minimum 3.00 GPA, demonstration of financial need, and enrollment as a full-time student in the 2022-23 academic year. 

The Sally C. Chamberlain Scholarship ($1,500) will be awarded to a female resident of Dauphin, Cumberland, or Perry County who is seeking to resume or renew academic work. Requirements include completion of 15 credits toward an associate or bachelor’s degree, a minimum 2.90 GPA, demonstration of financial need, and enrollment on at least a half-time credit (6 credits per term) at a college or university in Pennsylvania for the 2022-23 academic year. 


The Citizens Scholarship

The Citizens Scholarship is giving away $2,500 every month to students (undergrad and graduate) and parents. If you don’t win this month, you could win next month and you’re automatically entered for the annual grand prize of $15,000.  Deadline:  Monthly.


The Law Offices of Daniel Kim Scholarship

This $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to one qualified student who is currently attending or is planning to attend college or graduate school in 2022. Applicants must be currently enrolled or accepted to a university/college for the 2022 spring semester and must have a 3.0 GPA or higher. Applicants must submit a 1,200+ word essay on the topic:  Why a College Degree is Important to Me, and How I Plan to Use it.  Deadline:  December 31, 2022.  


Fox Pest Control Scholarship

Fox Pest Control is pleased to offer a $2,000 scholarship to an outstanding student who exemplifies our core values of building relationships with those in our communities and providing services to those in need. The applicant must submit a video (3-5 minutes in length) or a 300-500 word essay explaining a philanthropic project that they have organized or participated in at any time over the past two years along with a reference letter and certification of GPA.  Deadline:  June 1, 2022.


Gloria Barron Scholarship

This award is provided by Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes to recognize the effort of people who are dedicated to community service. For this program, applications are welcome from public-spirited young people between the ages of 8 and 18 currently working on an inspiring service project or have done so within the past 12 months. Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes awards scholarships annually to 25 outstanding young leaders ages 8 to 18 who have significantly impacted people, their communities, and the environment.  Deadline:  April 15, 2022.   


Hyundai Women in STEM Scholarship

At Hyundai, we are on a journey to proactively promote a shift towards electrification and sustainability. Write an essay of 500 words or more on the journey you will take to promote a positive shift towards sustainability in your chosen STEM field. Then, include the link to your essay on your application form. High school seniors and college undergraduates who identify as female, reside in the United States and wish to pursue a STEM-related field of education are eligible to apply.  Deadline:  June 30, 2022.   


Cerebral Palsy Scholarship

The Birth Injury Lawyers Group is offering a $2,500 Cerebral Palsy Scholarship open to both undergraduate and graduate students who have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Bob Goldwater of the Birth Injury Lawyers Group understands how birth injuries can affect daily lives as two of his triplets were diagnosed at birth. This scholarship will help ease the financial burden of tuition of a dedicated student with cerebral palsy. Deadline:  June 15, 2022


The Earnest Scholarship

At Earnest, we believe in helping people realize their hopes and dreams through further education. To help more students get to school, we created the Earnest Scholarship as a way to award ten students who best articulate how their education will enable their dreams.  Deadline:  July 31, 2022.  


Kappa Chapter Scholarship (Education Majors)

This is a $500 scholarship that will be awarded to a qualifying applicant each academic year for two years, beginning in 2021-2022 and ending in 2022-2023. The qualifying applicant must major in education and maintain a 3.0 grade point average or better for each academic year.  Deadline:  CLOSED FOR 2021. Hydrocephalus Association’s Scholarship Program

The Hydrocephalus Association’s Scholarship Program was established in 1994 to provide financial assistance to capable and promising young adults who live with the ongoing challenges and complexities of hydrocephalus. We are proud to offer a total of eleven scholarships annually in the amount of $1000 each. Deadline:  April 1, 2022.


Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Survivor Scholarship

Morelli Law Firm is accepting applications for its first “Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Survivor Scholarship.” The recipient of this scholarship will receive $10,000 to go toward their pursuit of a degree at an accredited college or university. Our firm created this scholarship to acknowledge and encourage those who have endured a TBI, and the scholarship committee members who review the entries look forward to receiving applications from a diverse group of college-bound students. Please write an essay 1,000-word (maximum) about the challenges you faced and/or continue to face due to your TBI, as well as how you overcame these challenges. What would you like other people with TBI to learn from your experience?  Deadline:  June 15, 2022. 


2022 UNAC/UHCP Scholarship Programs

In 2013, UNAC/UHCP inaugurated an ambitious scholarship program, which remains a successful part of our union’s support of professional education, training, and advanced certification. All scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled in a degree program or continuing education courses in a health care field at an accredited college, university, trade or technical school. Student must be enrolled in classes this fall, any time between August 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022.  Scholarships for $2,000 will be awarded to five students.  Deadline:  April 29, 2022.


INTEREST-FREE LOANS:  Lancaster Dollars for Higher Learning

Our mission is to provide financial resources to Lancaster County residents in support of their post-secondary educational goals. By providing interest-free loans we are helping students attain their dream of higher education. Since the loans are repaid, the funds are again available to provide funding to more students. This teaches students the value of paying it forward to help another individual. Deadline:  April 29, 2022.   


Single Parent Scholarship

The Single Parent Scholarship by Organic Formula Shop is a student scholarship designed to support a single mother or a father. We’re supporting the scholarship winner with $1,500 to cover a part of their costs as they pursue their degree. Student be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program. We ask you to include an essay in which you explain to us why we should pick you for our Scholarship.  Deadline:  July 31, 2022.


Scholarship America Dream Award

This is a renewable scholarship opportunity for current students who need help paying for their second year and beyond.  Scholarships are $5,000 to $15,000 per year, renewable for up to three years.  Apply for The Dream Award - Scholarship America  Deadline:  Applications available in August, 2022.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund

The HSF offers a number of scholarships to high school seniors and students currently enrolled in college.  You must be of Hispanic heritage.  Scholarships range from $500 - $5,000.  Deadline:  March 15, 2022.

PASFAA Scholarship

The Pennsylvania Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators offers $1,000 to seven PA residents each year.  Student Scholarship | PASFAA - Pennsylvania Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators   Deadline:  May 15, 2022.

The United Methodist Church

There are numerous scholarships and loans to help students who are active, full time members of a United Methodist Church.  The General Board of Higher Education and Ministry scholarship application opens in January of each year.  Award amounts and deadlines vary.  GBHEM - List of Scholarships

Penn Cumberland Garden Club

This $1,000 scholarship is available to current college/university students enrolled in a bachelor or graduate degree program with a major in Environmental Science, Botany, Urban or Regional Planning, Conservation, or Forestry.  Another $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a high school senior entering a college/university.  Deadline:  March 31, 2022.  Scholarship – Penn Cumberland Garden Club
