Gloria Barron Scholarship

This award is provided by Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes to recognize the effort of people who are dedicated to community service. For this program, applications are welcome from public-spirited young people between the ages of 8 and 18 currently working on an inspiring service project or have done so within the past 12 months. Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes awards scholarships annually to 25 outstanding young leaders ages 8 to 18 who have significantly impacted people, their communities, and the environment.  Deadline:  April 15, 2021.   


$500 Remote Student Scholarship

The impact of COVID-19 has changed in-person education in many ways, making access to internet connections and remote learning tools more important than ever. In your own words, please submit a 250-word essay on how internet tools are helping with your remote learning experience. The best submission will receive a $500 Visa gift card and a personalized feature on the HighSpeedOptions blog!  Deadline:  February 28, 2021.   


The Kay-Grant Group Scholarship

The Kay-Grant Group is a real estate agent group located in Scottsdale, AZ committed to bettering all generations through education. For this reason, we issue an annual scholarship to assist those interested in real estate, technology, or entrepreneurship with obtaining a formal education. The winning applicant will receive a $1,000 scholarship to use towards higher education. More than one winner may be chosen. This is not a needs-based scholarship. Residing in Scottsdale, AZ or Arizona, in general, is not a requirement.  Deadline:  April 30, 2021.   


CFF Foundation Education Award

Cocodrie Fly Fishing (CFF) aims to give advice and tips on how you can have the ultimate fly fishing experience. CFF will grant selected applicants a $1,500 financial award for their compelling essays on fishing, outdoors and adventure activities.  Deadline:  Quarterly.  


The Pierre and Tana Matisse Scholarship

The Pierre and Tana Matisse Foundation is committed to supporting people from communities who directly experience the consequences of injustice and discrimination every day of their lives. In partnership with UNCF, the Foundation has developed The Pierre and Tana Matisse Scholarship program to provide need-based scholarships to Black, Latinx, and Indigenous undergraduate students from the five boroughs of New York City attending any accredited four-year institution or two-year community college in the United States.  Deadline:  1/28/2021. 


Certa Law Personal Injury & Wrongful Death Scholarship

The Certa Law Personal Injury & Wrongful Death Scholarship is an award for any current or soon-to-be undergrad who have had their life altered due to a bodily injury from an automotive or pedestrian accident, be it their own injury, that of a loved one, or an influential individual. The Certa Law Scholarship has a brief submission process, and applicants will be judged on their ability to convey the lasting effect an accident has had on their life.  Deadline:  December 15, 2021. 


MDG Advertising's Sixth Annual "Looking Beyond College" Scholarship Essay Contest

This scholarship is available to students of all majors. Because good writing skills are essential to success in college and the workplace, they developed their $1,000 scholarship to not only offer financial support, but also to motivate students to express themselves creatively in writing and empower them to communicate clearly and effectively. We’re looking for compelling essays that describe a student’s ideal job after college (it doesn’t have to be in advertising), what skills they believe they’d bring to the job, and why they think it would be rewarding. AES Scholarship 2021

The consulting firm of AES Engineers is committed to continuing its support of higher education by providing scholarships to deserving students. This award is available to all students, regardless of their field of study. To be eligible, the student needs to answer the essay questions that they will find on  The $500 scholarship will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluating the essays that are submitted. Entry is due October 8, 2021.


The Citizens Scholarship

The Citizens Scholarship Sweepstakes is open to high school seniors, undergraduate and graduate students as well as their parents or sponsors to help them pay for college. Entering is easy, all they need to do is fill out the registration form online and submit. Sweepstakes begins on 5/1/20 and ends on 6/30/21.


PNC Student Lending Scholarship

We launched the PNC Student Lending Scholarship Sweepstakes program in 2015 to further support students by giving them a chance to win $2,000 to spend on their education expenses. We award a total of $24,000 annually to eligible undergraduate students who have entered the sweepstakes through their Financial Literacy account:


Clearway Essay Contest Scholarship

Clearway Community Solar LLC (“Clearway”) is offering essay scholarships (“Essay”) to a full-time undergraduate college student. Scholarship applicants must be full-time undergraduate students enrolled in a degree program in fields such as Environmental Science, Sustainable Studies, Industrial Technology, Energy and Sustainability Policy, Energy Commerce, Environmental Engineering, or a related field at a US institution and be a United States citizen. Scholarship applicants must have completed, at the attending institution, a minimum of 15 college credit hours or one semester. Students will be writing an essay about a topic chosen by Clearway. The 2020 scholarship is open for applications until November 1, 2020


Cerebral Palsy Scholarship

The Birth Injury Lawyers Group is offering a $2,500 Cerebral Palsy Scholarship open to both undergraduate and graduate students who have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Bob Goldwater of the Birth Injury Lawyers Group understands how birth injuries can affect daily lives as two of his triplets were diagnosed at birth. This scholarship will help ease the financial burden of tuition of a dedicated student with cerebral palsy. The deadline to apply for this $2,500 scholarship is June 15, 2021


Eric Dalius Scholarship

The Eric Dalius Scholarship will be awarded to a talented young person displaying the potential to bring about change to the world of entrepreneurship. This scholarship has been instituted by businessman Eric J. Dalius. Eric Dalius has established himself as a world class business figure. He has proven himself to be a person of unrelenting spirit, unflinching commitment, and unparalleled dedication. He will award the Eric Dalius Scholarship to the most deserving candidate. Each semester, one successful applicant will be chosen. This applicant will be awarded $1,000 towards their degree. Deadline 1: 1st August 2020. Deadline 2: 1st April 2021.


Aspiring Writers Scholarship

Reading provides an escape to new worlds, friends, and adventures. A love of reading can help plant the seeds of inspiration for young readers to grow into writers who create their own stories and books. To celebrate these aspiring writers, Readability is sponsoring the ’Readability Aspiring Writers’ Scholarship competition, which will reward one aspiring writer with a $1,000 scholarship and the opportunity to have a story published on the Readability app. The competition will end on June 15, 2021, and is open to all students enrolled at an accredited college or university; applicants should have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

National Founder’s Undergraduate Business Student Scholarship

Brown, PC is now accepting applications for the firm’s National Founder’s Scholarship, a $500 stipend which will be awarded to a current full-time U.S. undergraduate student earning their bachelor’s degree in business, with a demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship. The deadline for submissions is Monday, December 7, 2020 and the award will be announced on Monday, December 14, 2020.


National Founder’s Graduate Business Student Scholarship

Brown, PC is now accepting applications for the firm’s National Founder’s Scholarship, a $500 stipend which will be awarded to a current full-time U.S. graduate business student with a demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship. The deadline for submissions is Monday, December 7, 2020 and the award will be announced on Monday, December 14, 2020.


The Chairish "Design Your Future" Scholarship

Chairish is offering a scholarship designed to support students from diverse backgrounds and students who are majoring in design-related fields such as architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and engineering fields. Deadlines:  January 1 & June 30 (annually)  


The Earnest Scholarship

At Earnest, we believe in helping people realize their hopes and dreams through further education. To help more students get to school, we created the Earnest Scholarship as a way to award ten students who best articulate how their education will enable their dreams.  Deadline:  June 30, 2021.  


The Vohra Wound Care Scholarship

The Vohra Wound Care Scholarship for Nursing Education and Nursing Certifications exists to provide a scholarship to current nurses or nursing students in pursuit of a nursing degree, who seek financial assistance and show interest in earning a wound care certification. Vohra Wound Physicians will select one scholarship recipient annually for a chance to receive a $1000 cash scholarship, plus free tuition for Vohra’s Wound Care Certification course, valued at $650. Deadline:  March 31, 2021.  


The Sallie Mae Fund's Bridging the Dream Scholarship

In partnership with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, The Sallie Mae Fund’s Bridging the Dream Scholarship Program helps increase access and completion of higher education among students of color and those from underserved communities. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents and Pell Grant-eligible.  Deadline:  March 8, 2021.


Kappa Chapter Scholarship (Education Majors)

This is a $500.00 scholarship that will be awarded to a qualifying applicant each academic year for two years, beginning in 2021-2022 and ending in 2022-2023. The qualifying applicant must major in education and maintain a 3.0 grade point average or better for each academic year.  Deadline:  April 1, 2021. Hydrocephalus Association’s Scholarship Program

The Hydrocephalus Association’s Scholarship Program was established in 1994 to provide financial assistance to capable and promising young adults who live with the ongoing challenges and complexities of hydrocephalus. We are proud to offer a total of eleven scholarships annually in the amount of $1000 each.  Deadline:  May 1, 2021.


Rover Scholarship

In 400-500 words, answer the following question:  How has technology impacted the person you are today? We’re looking for essays that incorporate unique ideas, personal stories, and thoughts about how technology has impacted them. Entry is subject to the official rules and conditions, which you can access here. There will be one winner, who will receive a check via their school for $2,500.  Deadline:  May 1, 2021.


Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Survivor Scholarship

Morelli Law Firm is accepting applications for its first “Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Survivor Scholarship.” The recipient of this scholarship will receive $10,000 to go toward their pursuit of a degree at an accredited college or university. Our firm created this scholarship to acknowledge and encourage those who have endured a TBI, and the scholarship committee members who review the entries look forward to receiving applications from a diverse group of college-bound students. Please write an essay 1,000-word (maximum) about the challenges you faced and/or continue to face due to your TBI, as well as how you overcame these challenges. What would you like other people with TBI to learn from your experience?  Deadline:  June 15, 2021.

2021 UNAC/UHCP Alexis G. Philius Scholarship

The UNAC/UHCP Alexis G. Philius Scholarship is a new UNAC/UHCP scholarship program introduced to provide resources and support to students of Black/African descent pursuing education toward a career in health care. Scholarships for $2,000 will be awarded to five students.  Deadline:  March 31, 2021.


Scholarships for Success from Christian Community Credit Union

To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, applicants need to be:  A member of Christian Community Credit Union with your own Checking Account (newly-opened or existing); Attending a college, university, or seminary for the 2021-2022 academic year; AND Enrolling (per semester/quarter) with 12 units or more for Undergraduate students, six units or more for Graduate students. Deadline:  March 31, 2021.


American Association of University Women (AAUW) Harrisburg 2021-22 Scholarships

AAUW Harrisburg awards college scholarships to women from Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry County who are pursuing degrees in the coming academic year. Deadline:  July 15, 2021.

The Beverly J. Smith Memorial Scholarship ($2,500) will be awarded to a female resident of Dauphin, Cumberland, or Perry County who attends an accredited college or university in Pennsylvania in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. Requirements include completion of 60 credits, a minimum 3.40 GPA, demonstration of financial need, and enrollment as a full-time student for the 2020-21 academic year. The Member Memorial Scholarship ($1,000) will be awarded to a female resident of Dauphin, Cumberland, or Perry County who attends an accredited college or university in Pennsylvania in pursuit of an associate or bachelor’s degree. Requirements include completion of 15 credits, minimum 3.00 GPA, demonstration of financial need, and enrollment on at least a half-time basis (6 credits per term) for the 2020-21 academic year. The Ronald D. and Kathleen A. Krausse STEM Scholarship ($1,500) will be awarded to a female resident of Dauphin, Cumberland, or Perry County who attends an accredited college or university in Pennsylvania in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in a STEM major. Requirements include completion of 30 credits, minimum 3.00 GPA, demonstration of financial need, and enrollment as a full-time student in the 2020-21 academic year. The Sally C. Chamberlain Scholarship ($1,500) will be awarded to a female resident of Dauphin, Cumberland, or Perry County who is seeking to resume or renew academic work. Requirements include completion of 15 credits toward an associate or bachelor’s degree, a minimum 2.90 GPA, demonstration of financial need, and enrollment on at least a half-time credit (6 credits per term) at a college or university in Pennsylvania for the 2020-21 academic year. The Jeff Humphrey Technical Scholarship

Scholarship applicants must be admitted to (or in the admissions process for) a post-secondary educational program at an accredited college, university, or technical school. Applicants must be enrolled/plan to enroll in a technical audiovisual degree path. Deadline:  March 31, 2021.


Leigh A. Genasevich Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship is open to all traditionally homeschool students who are residents of PA, members of Christian Homeschool Association of Pennsylvania (CHAP), are graduating and who are continuing their education through some type of learning beyond high school. This may be college (online or in-person), trade school, gap program, or technical institution. Deadline:  April 30, 2021.  


2021 Education Award from Members 1st Federal Credit Union

If you are currently attending an accredited college, university or technical school, you are eligible to apply. Scholarships in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded to four undergraduate students studying:  Accounting, Business, Communications, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Marketing. Preference will be given to students from Central Pennsylvania, which we define as Adams, Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York county. Deadline:  March 31, 2021.


INTEREST-FREE LOANS:  Lancaster Dollars for Higher Learning

Our mission is to provide financial resources to Lancaster County residents in support of their post-secondary educational goals. By providing interest-free loans we are helping students attain their dream of higher education. Since the loans are repaid, the funds are again available to provide funding to more students. This teaches students the value of paying it forward to help another individual. Deadline:  April 30, 2021.   


American Casting & Manufacturing Scholarship

The American Casting & Manufacturing Scholarship is a $500 dollar scholarship awarded twice per year, during the Fall and Spring semesters. This scholarship is open to applicants with any major, awarding those based on writing capabilities and academic achievement. The student must be a College Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student who is currently enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Write a 500–700 word essay focusing on The Benefits of Manufactured Security Products and Tamper Evident Seals in Business.  Deadlines:  February 1 & July 1 (annually)


The Citizens Scholarship

The Citizens Scholarship is giving away $2,500 every month to students (undergrad and graduate) and parents. If you don’t win this month, you could win next month and you’re automatically entered for the annual grand prize of $15,000.  Deadline:  Monthly.


Lime Connect Pathways Scholarship for High School Seniors

Lime Connect believes strongly in the potential of high school students who happen to have all types of disabilities and is committed to supporting their future. Our Pathways Scholarship is designed for current high school seniors who are pursuing a degree at a four-year university or college in either the U.S. or Canada. Recipients of the Lime Connect Pathways Scholarship each receive $1,000 in support of their university/college studies. The awards are merit-based, but financial need will be taken into consideration.  Deadline:  May 31, 2021.   


The Law Offices of Daniel Kim Scholarship

This $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to one qualified student who is currently attending or is planning to attend college or graduate school in 2022. Applicants must be currently enrolled or accepted to a university/college for the 2022 spring semester and must have a 3.0 GPA or higher. Applicants must submit a 1,200+ word essay on the topic:  Why a College Degree is Important to Me, and How I Plan to Use it.  Deadline:  December 31, 2021.  


InfoTracer Scholarship is a premier boutique information agency that aggregates public records into a massive repository. We are offering eligible students the opportunity to win $1,000 in scholarship money for college for the 2021-2022 school year. To qualify for this educational grant, you must be a high school graduate pursuing a full-time college or university placement or already enrolled in college full time. You must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. Applicants have to write a 1,000 word essay. Watermark Scholars Program

We are offering two $5000 annual women in STEM scholarships for the fall 2021 academic term to support college students pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)-related studies and careers. Write an essay OR create a video telling us about someone who has inspired you and what your professional plans include.  Deadline:  July 15, 2021.  


Single Parent Scholarship

The Single Parent Scholarship by Organic Formula Shop is a student scholarship designed to support a single mother or a father. We’re supporting the scholarship winner with $1,500 to cover a part of their costs as they pursue their degree. Student be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program. We ask you to include an essay in which you explain to us why we should pick you for our Scholarship.  Deadline:  June 30, 2021.


The Underwood Law Office Community Leadership Scholarship

Our law firm has created The Underwood Law Office Community Leadership Scholarship of $1,000 to bring to light individuals who have a passion for the importance of community and display this passion through actions, behaviors, thoughts, extracurricular activities, internships, and/or jobs. It does not matter if you have just been accepted to a college or if you are midway through your higher education. Applications include a 1,000 word personal essay responding to the question, “What is the meaning of service?”  Deadline:  June 15, 2021.


Fox Pest Control Scholarship

Fox Pest Control is pleased to offer a $2,000 scholarship to an outstanding student who exemplifies our core values of building relationships with those in our communities and providing services to those in need. The applicant must submit a video (3-5 minutes in length) or a 300-500 word essay explaining a philanthropic project that they have organized or participated in at any time over the past two years along with a reference letter and certification of GPA.  Deadline:  August 1, 2021.


BroadwayPass Scholarship

Taking into consideration the current health crisis and the increasing financial insecurity, we at BroadwayPass have decided to lend a helping hand to all young musical theater fans. We have decided to provide a $1,000 scholarship award to a student who is a full-time or part-time student in a college or university with an overall average GPA of at least 3.0. To apply, you must send us a 1,000-word essay on the topic of Broadway and musical theater’s future after the end of the COVID–19 pandemic.  Deadlines:  September 1, 2021 & December 1, 2021.


Benenati Law Firm Future Leaders Scholarship

The Benenati Law Firm is pleased to offer the Benenati Law Firm Future Leaders Scholarship. Our $2,000 scholarship is available to high school seniors and current college students nationwide who plan on attending, or are currently attending, an accredited 4-year college/university or 2-year accredited community college in the Fall of 2021. Applicants must be pursuing a legal, medical, or business-related degree. Special consideration will be given to members of a family that have recently been in a difficult financial situation.  Deadline:  June 1, 2021.


AquaLiv Scholarship

Previously, our scholarship was limited to studies in Environmental Sciences and Sustainability. Beginning 2021, we are acknowledging that all disciplines must embrace sustainability concepts to ensure a thriving planet for generations to come. The winner of our AquaLiv Sustainability Scholarship receives $1,500 for education-related expenses including tuition, books, campus housing, and more. Two runners up will each be awarded $250. Students must be enrolled at an accredited school for at least one full calendar year to be eligible. Applicants apply by email with a short description of yourself and a 500-word essay on how you intend to use your education to promote sustainability.  Deadline:  November 15, 2021.
