Our alumni have pursued a wide variety of fields after graduation, including transitioning straight into the workforce and moving into graduate school. Our history majors have worked as teachers, professors, museum curators, historical society directors, librarians, multicultural program coordinators, government researchers, and lawyers, among many.     Jonathan Fuller ’16 History major heads to seminary

    When Christian ministries and history major Jonathan Fuller ’16 visited Messiah during his college search, the Burlington, North Carolina, native knew he’d found the right place. “If you can fall in love with Messiah on a cold February morning, you can love it anytime,” he said.

    At the Baylor Collections of Political Materials in the W. R. Poage Legislative Library, she processes the papers of former Texas congress members. Everything from constituent correspondence to legislation gets filed and coded in acid-free boxes.

    This history graduate realized there was a lack of online videos about religion through the lens of sociology, anthropology and history. So, he filled the void with his YouTube channel, "Religion for Breakfast."

    Alumnus Joe effectively lives out Messiah College’s mission to “educate men and women toward maturity of intellect, character and Christian faith in preparation for lives of service, leadership and reconciliation in church and society” as the lead pastor of Salford Mennonite Church in the Philadelphia suburbs.

    Tim Grove ’89 has a passion for history—and for sharing it with others. He recently published his second young adult book, “Milestones of Flight,” to coincide with the opening of an exhibit of the same name at the National Air and Space Museum, where he works as the chief of museum learning.
