Summer Camp for High School Students

Why attend?

Experience college life as a business student while still in high school!  Gain a greater understanding of the opportunities available as a business major.

Who can attend?

High School Students entering 9th through 12th grade

How much does it cost?

$650 – Resident; $550 Commuter

Messiah College Business Faculty with Guest Speakers from the community

Experience Business by:

Explore:  The world of business while being a part of a college campus.
Examine: Advertising, digital marketing, stock market, accounting fraud, economic development
Execute:  Learning how to apply business concepts to real world scenarios.
Expect:  To have fun and meet new people.

LEARNING THROUGH:

Experiential Learning - by interacting with guest speakers on topics such as accounting fraud, entrepreneurship, and developing markets, shadowing a Messiah College business professional, participating in a stock portfolio simulation and much more.

Service Learning - Tour a local nonprofit organization and learn about their operations while serving them and others.

Learn how the business world is impacted by economics, accounting, marketing and much more!  Throughout the week, students will be participating in a stock portfolio simulation, learning business concepts from Messiah College facility, interacting with guest speakers all while experiencing campus life.
