Board of advisors

The Graduate Business & Leadership Board of Advisors was formed to connect and collaborate with prominent external stakeholders serving in business, leadership, government, education, healthcare and other industry communities to enhance the Program’s effectiveness in achieving its mission. The Board provides feedback and recommendations on the quality of curriculum and its relevance to current business and industry challenges.

    Kris Cravey is an Assistant Professor of Business and the Director of Graduate Programs in Business and Leadership. With 20 years of experience in the energy sector, he brings a wealth of industry leadership and experience to Messiah University.

    Catharine Krugh is a VP/Controller with Centric Bank. Formerly she was the Chief Financial Officer at Union Community Bank in Mount Joy, PA, where she managed the finance and operations of the Bank. She was named to the Federal Home Loan Bank’s Member Advisory Board.

  • Dan Haines
    Dan Haines Vice President of Marketing & Advertising, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet

    Dan is a marketing veteran with significant leadership experience in consumer packaged goods and retail. He started his career at the Campbell Soup Company where he played key roles in Marketing Planning, Marketing Research, and Brand Management. Dan then spent 17 years at the Hershey Company. There he was primarily involved with Brand Management and managed such well-known brands as Hershey’s Syrup, Twizzlers, York Peppermint Patties, PayDay, and others. Dan also played a key role in Consumer Promotion and led Hershey’s national product sampling programs, and Hershey’s NASCAR sponsorship of Kevin Harvick. Dan is currently the Vice President of Marketing & Advertising for Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, one of the fastest growing retailers in America. He is responsible for all aspects of marketing for Ollie’s, including TV, radio, print, outdoor, sponsorships, public relations, website, social media and Ollie’s Army (customer loyalty program). Dan graduated from Messiah University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business/Marketing. He received his MBA from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Dan lives in Hershey, PA with his wife Cindi. They have three children; Andrew, Ben and Rachel.
