William Boissonnault, professor-emeritus UW-Madison, holds multiple adjunct faculty positions in DPT programs, and is a self-employed consultant and clinician. Previous positions: Executive Leadership, APTA. Academic degrees: BSPT UW-Madison; MS/DHSc -University of St. Augustine; t-DPT MGH Institute of Health Professions.
Dr. Boissonnault has presented nationally/internationally and has multiple journal publications on direct access, medical screening and diagnostic imaging. Editor of textbook-Primary Care for the Physical Therapist; 3rd edition.
Previous Service includes: President - AOPT, APTA, and the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research. Current Service includes: APTA WI – nominating committee and co-chair of practice committee. Awards: APTA’s Baethke-Carlin Award for Excellence in Academic Teaching, Lucy Blair Service Award, Education Section’s Distinguished Educator, and AAOMPT’s Mennell Service award.
