Messiah University and Wilson College enter enrollment agreement for Messiah’s MSAT program

Messiah University and Wilson College are excited to announce a bachelor’s + 2 MSAT enrollment partnership. The Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) has mandated that an individual must now have a Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) from an accredited program to take the Board of Certification Examination, which is required to practice.

This program will allow Wilson College students who complete a bachelor’s degree to move into Messiah’s MSAT program. Students may pursue any undergraduate degree as long as they successfully complete Messiah University MSAT prerequisites.

“We are excited to form this articulation agreement with Wilson College. Wilson is a fellow central Pennsylvania private institution rooted in the liberal studies and a commitment to student-centered high-impact learning,” said Dr. Rob Pepper, associate provost for graduate and professional studies and university partnerships at Messiah. “Their growing exercise science program coupled with their enduring commitments is a solid foundation for Messiah’s MSAT program.”
