Off-Campus Programs

Welcome to Off-Campus Programs!

The purpose of Off-Campus Programs at Messiah University is to provide holistic support to students as they explore safe, transformative semester-long and short-term experiences that encourage them to reflect, learn, and grow as they navigate the complexities of becoming global citizens in a diverse world.

Explore a world of opportunities!

Study abroad for a semester - Choose from over 30 semester-long off-campus programs in over 40 countries. Messiah students may apply to participate in one semester-long, off-campus program.

Study abroad short-term - Choose from a variety of three-week, three-credit, faculty-led cross-cultural courses during May Term

Serve abroad - Partner with the Agape Center for Service and Learning, the Collaboratory for Strategic Partnerships and Applied Research, or AROMA Sports Ministry to do a short-term service trip abroad

Intern abroad - Take advantage of a wide variety of opportunities to intern around the globe.

Perform abroad - Join the Concert Choir on their European tour (every four years) or join another ensemble that may have the opportunity to perform abroad.

I came to realize just how big God is.  There I was praying and singing to God in English.  On the one side of me was a friend singing in Swahili, and on the other was a friend singing in her tribal language.  God heard us all just the same.
