You will be given the opportunity to explore the many aspects of Sustainability with hands-on learning and exploring.
Who can attend?
High school students entering 9th – 12th grades
How much does it cost?
$650 – resident; $550 commuter
Who is teaching?
Messiah College Sustainability and Biology faculty as well as staff from the Oakes Museum and Grantham Community Garden
Experience Sustainability by:
- Learning about bee keeping
- Digging in the dirt to learn about organic gardening
- Learn about stream ecology in the Yellow Breeches stream that runs through campus
- Learning about sustainable cities and serving at Harrisburg’s Recycle Bicycle program
