Ticketing

Messiah College has received an enthusiastic response about The Compassion Forum from its campus community of students, employees, alumni, parents, and friends.

While there have been many inquiries and much interest expressed in attending The Compassion Forum, space and security constraints in the auditorium require that attendance at the Forum be by invitation only.

At this point, all tickets have been distributed or allocated for Messiah College students.

The College has extended formal invitations to guests from the campus and broader Messiah community, including representatives of student organizations who are directly involved with compassion-related issues. Other invited College guests will include representatives of our constituencies such as employees, trustees, alumni, regional faith leaders, and community friends.

However, the majority of Messiah’s tickets were distributed to students in the form of a random drawing that will allow all students to have an equal opportunity to receive a ticket for the Forum. Employees also had the opportunity to participate in the drawing.

To maximize the number of students sharing in the excitement of this event, the College is hosting a Compassion Forum "watch party" for Messiah students.  Unfortunately, due to the extensive staffing demands of the Forum, the College will be unable to accommodate "watch parties" for off-campus groups or organizations.

Others interested in hearing the candidates converse about compassion issues can watch The Compassion Forum live on television. CNN will serve as the exclusive broadcaster of The Compassion Forum and will televise and webstream it live from 8-9:30 p.m. on April 13.
