Student ministries
Welcome to Student Ministries!
Our mission is to equip Messiah's campus to live in Christ by helping people grow in their understanding of identity, relationship, healing, and calling through a lens of truth and love. In our efforts to cultivate student leadership, we also encourage leaders to reflect on their own faith and deepen their commitment to following Christ through guided and intentional mentoring along the way.
Student Ministries aim is to provide prayer, scripture, and worship opportunities for every student to engage with the Lord and develop their spiritual formation alongside peers. Through intentional mentoring and discipleship, Student Ministries leaders are equipped to engage others in on-going spiritual growth while gaining leadership experience on campus.
Through Student Ministries we offer four different branches of ministry: Chapel, Discipleship, Events, and Prayer.

In accordance with the Office of Student Engagement, Messiah Student Ministries views student leadership as an essential opportunity to cultivate each student's character, calling, and competency as growing disciples and leaders in and for the church and world. Our Student Ministries Council broadly oversees all organizational ministries to ensure a unified mission and vision and to offer collaboration and support for campus-wide events and initiatives. This team-based approach to ministry leadership celebrates the strengths each student leader offers in their various roles and cultivates a genuine Christian community among those hoping to cultivate the same for the entire campus.
- During the spring semester, Student Ministries begins hiring the next year's student leaders to serve across all its ministry groups.

Student Ministries always has something going on. Across our various ministry groups, there is something to do most days of the week. Come experience Altar, Chapel, Logos Bible Study, and more!
When you're a student, connect with us at the activities fair, follow us on Instagram, and keep your eye on your email to stay up to date on when and where each of our ministry groups are meeting.
We look forward to connecting with you and pursuing spiritual formation through community together!
