Data Visualization Camp - Discover the power of coding and creativity! 

This immersive day camp introduces high school students entering 9th–12th grade to the exciting world of data visualization with the programming language Python. Students will learn how to turn raw information into compelling charts, interactive dashboards, and AI-assisted insights, while experiencing a taste of faith-based learning at a Christian University.

  • Engaging Lessons led by friendly faculty and industry pros who make data science exciting and easy to understand.
  • Hands-on coding labs every day work with real-world datasets and see your ideas come to life on screen.
  • Mini-Workshops featuring Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly, all taught through fun, interactive demos.
  • AI-Powered Showcases where you’ll watch modern tools transform data like magic—then try them yourself!
  • Daily “Code & Play” Activities that mix coding with puzzles, quick quests, and friendly competitions.

Classes are taught by Messiah University faculty and local industry experts, as well as Messiah students.

Students will enjoy lunch on campus and healthy snacks and are chaperoned by trained teaching assistants. All classes take place in the cyber center located in Frey Hall,  just steps away from the dining hall.
