PDE Certification - Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Wellness Endorsement (PK-12)

The Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Wellness certificate program prepares educators to meet the social and emotional needs of a range of students including those who have experienced trauma, adverse childhood experiences and/or have a mental illness and to collaborate with families, agencies and the community to provide multi-tiered systems of support.

The Social, Emotional and Behavioral Wellness graduate certificate is designed for educators and other professionals who work with children who have experienced trauma, adverse childhood experiences and/or have a mental illness. The certificate equips students to collaboratively provide appropriate supports for children and their families.

No-fee tuition

With Messiah’s no-fee tuition, there are no additional university charges for labs, courses, services or technology. While some programs may involve additional expenses such as materials, travel or other external costs that vary by student, you won’t encounter unexpected fees from Messiah. This approach allows you to clearly understand and plan for the tuition portion of your graduate education.

No-fee tuition per graduate credit hour: $820

Tuition cost for the entire program at the 2026-2027 rate: ranges from $24,600 (30 credits) to $63,960 (78 credits)

M.Ed. students are eligible to apply for federal financial aid. Tuition is subject to annual adjustment; historically, increases have averaged approximately 2-3% per year.
