Messiah University’s graduate certificate in sport and performance psychology will develop you to help athletes, performers and other high-achieving individuals thrive personally and competitively. Drawing on knowledge from the disciplines of counseling and sport psychology, you will learn to apply evidence-based mental skills and psychological strategies that enhance performance, resilience and overall well-being. With Messiah’s no-fee tuition, there are no additional university charges for labs, courses, services or technology. Tuition cost for the entire 12 credit-hour program at the 2026-2027 rate: $9,840

MS in sport and performance psychology students are eligible to apply for federal financial aid. Tuition is subject to annual adjustment; historically, increases have averaged approximately 2-3% per year.
