The Vice President is responsible for the overall management of human resources, college-wide compliance programming, and oversight of the college's legal services. Amanda also serves as the College's Title IX coordinator. Contact the Vice President regarding employee and supervisory counseling, employee relations issues, performance management, staff training and development, harassment and discrimination complaints and issues regarding compliance.

Inger is responsible for recruitment, preliminary interviewing and hiring of Staff and Administrative employees, as well as Temporary staff. Inger works closely with and advises hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Inger is responsible for advertising/recruiting faculty and she manages the faculty immigration process as well as the relocation process for newly hired administrators and faculty. She is available to assist with the coordination and training of certain search committees. Contact Inger regarding advertising and placement of position openings. She also provides assistance with creation and updating of position descriptions. In addition, Inger provides assistance with preliminary problem solving for both employees and supervisors.

Kathy is responsible for salary administration, including issuance of Letters of Appointment to administrative and staff employees. She also assists Don with database management. Kathy oversees the performance appraisal process for non-faculty employees. Her additional responsibilities include supervisor training and development, employee recognition and management of employee events. Kathy is the HR representative to the United Way Committee.

Don has primary responsibility for human resource database management, including the implementation and support of Banner, PeopleAdmin, Self-Service and other employee-related applications. He oversees the job classification and compensation system and is responsible for conducting compensation evaluations. He is responsible for the design and delivery of a variety of management reports and analyses for both internal and external audiences as well as for maintaining the HR website. Don also manages the College's Payroll Office and the Student Employment Office.

Contact Su for assistance with benefits and the retirement program. Benefits issues include maternity/paternity leaves and short-term disability, workers' compensation, and information regarding the reporting of on-the-job injuries, family medical leave and general leaves of absence. Su is responsible for the administration of health and retirement benefits for faculty, staff, and administrative employees as well as for the educational assistance programs.

Helping to insure that the College is in compliance with federal, state and local environmental, health and safety regulations is a primary function of Donna's position. Her responsibilities include auditing compliance practices, helping departments to develop compliance plans, educating employees on safety and compliance measures, and overseeing the reporting of adverse events and potential hazardous conditions including reporting claims to governmental or voluntary agencies. Donna is also involved with the higher education aspects of compliance: FERPA, Title IX, Clery, etc. She is available to employees if there are safety concerns and is happy to discuss with you any safety suggestions you may have.

Sharon provides administrative and general support for the HR office and the employment function, including search activities and new hire orientation. Sharon can assist with general HR-related questions regarding employment and recruitment procedures, employment verifications and personal data changes. Sharon receives and processes personnel actions and serves as a HR liaison with Payroll.

Victoria provides executive level support to the Vice President of Human Resources & Compliance and will execute a variety of time-sensitive and complex key projects and reports, as well as routinely interface with HR clients and outside constituencies. Victoria is responsible for developing effective systems to manage the Vice President's administrative project needs.

Hannah is responsible for coordinating (as well as evaluating and revising as needed) a comprehensive college-wide violence response and prevention program. Responsibilities include working with the Department of Safety, the Title IX Coordinators, the Grievance Review Board and care teams to develop programs for educating employees, identifying resources for improving existing practices, facilitating prevention activities, and institutionalizing college-wide education programs suited for various constituencies.

Belinda functions as the primary coordinator of multiple aspects of the student employment process. This position is responsible for coordinating advertising, hiring, terminating and reporting for all student employees. She is also responsible for coordinating student employment-related training and events.
