Health Services

The University’s Engle Center will be closed during Christmas break from Dec. 22, 2021, through Jan. 3, 2022. Messiah is not requiring returning students, regardless of vaccination status, to submit a negative PCR test before returning from Christmas break prior to the start of the Spring 2022 semester. However, following Christmas break, the University will resume its surveillance/sample testing of unvaccinated students. Please do not return to campus following Christmas break if you have tested positive for or have symptoms of COVID-19 (including cold or flu-like symptoms), or if you are confirmed to have been exposed to a COVID-19 positive individual. In any of these circumstances, regardless of your vaccination status, you should complete the Falcon Health Check-In on FalconLink; the Engle Center will then contact you, when they reopen on Jan. 4, to work with you on an individual plan of action/return. There is significant evidence that being fully vaccinated AND BOOSTED is your best protection against COVID-19. Please consider getting your COVID 19 booster while you are home for break. In addition, we have seen influenza A circulating on campus, so get your flu shot before you return, too!
