Messiah University Summer Dance Intensive
Join us for a unique opportunity to experience one week as a Messiah University dance major. Attend daily classes in ballet, modern, pointe and modern repertory taught by Messiah faculty. Explore faith, art and outreach during dance ministry seminars. Culminate your week with a performance in Miller Auditorium. Explore the campus and learn firsthand about campus life from current dance majors and alumni, who serve as your resident assistants.

Join us for a unique opportunity to experience one week as a Messiah University theatre major. Attend daily classes that explore various acting techniques, improvisation, and stage combat taught by Messiah faculty. Explore faith, art and outreach during creative dramatic seminars. Culminate your week with a devised theatre performance in Miller Auditorium. Explore the campus and learn firsthand about campus life from current theatre majors and alumni, who serve as your resident assistants.

Creative exploration and the development of individual potential are the primary goals for junior division theatre students. In addition to devising and rehearsing a production, students have acting and dance classes in which they investigate the world of theatre through exercises that activate their voices, bodies, and imaginations. Open to students going into grades 3rd-5th.
