Documenting the Tour
"Return to the Roots of Civil Rights" is an award-winning documentary produced by WQED Multimedia in Pittsburgh and we share this documentary with their permission. WQED members traveled and documented the tour and their experience. Sit back for 30 minutes and watch what many at Messiah College invested 9 days to experience and learn about the life that many lived and lost in the pursuit of their civil rights in the 1950s and '60s.
Also, watch a short video of Messiah College participants from the 2017 trip as documented on their tour experience, listen to past participants share their thoughts on reconciliation and hope and see images from their journey.
