In celebration of Juneteenth, HR gave away some fabulous cook books:

• High on the Hog: A Culinary Journey from Africa to America
• Sweet Home Café Cookbook: A Celebration of African American Cooking
• Jubilee: Recipes from Two Centuries of African American Cooking

and one excellent history book with great recipes sprinkled in:

• The Cooking Gene: A Journey through African American Culinary History in the Old South

The contest entry required participants to send in a fact about Juneteenth. We received many interesting submissions and have compiled a few of them in this video.
