As Messiah's chief marketing and communications officer, Carla is responsible for developing and implementing the University's public relations, communications, marketing and branding strategies. As AVP, she leads the work of the Marketing and Communications team, who provide the University with daily expertise in strategic marketing, branding, media relations, crisis communications and issues mangement, social media, graphic design, web communications, digital marketing, and the editorial and design of Messiah's alumni magazine, The Bridge. She also serves a dual role as special assistant to the president for communication, in which she works with the president on executive-level initiatives, projects and events--including serving as cochair for Messiah's Undergraduate Commencement Committee.
