Messiah alumna Gabrielle Quandel-Umholtz ’20, ’23 receives ACDA-PA Outstanding Young Conductor Award

A headshot of Gabrielle Congratulations to Messiah University alumna Gabrielle Quandel-Umholtz ’20, ’23, recipient of the prestigious ACDA-PA Outstanding Young Conductor Award. This honor recognizes early-career choral directors who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and musicianship within their first 3 to 5 years in the field.

Gabrielle earned both her Bachelor of Science in Music Education (2020) and Master of Music in Choral Conducting (2023) from Messiah. She currently serves as the high school choir director at Ephrata Area High School, where she conducts all choirs and directs musical theater productions. She also contributes her talents to the Lebanon County Choral Society, working with its youth choirs.
