Pre-Chiropractic
Course Requirements:
Admission requirements vary by institution so you should research programs of interest. In general, requirements include:
- 1 year general biology with lab
- 1 year general chemistry with lab
- 1 year organic chemistry with lab
- 1 year introductory or general physics with lab
- 1 year English
- Courses in social sciences or humanities
- Additional requirements
Application Timeline:
Chiropractic school directly after Messiah University:
- Required courses must be completed by end of senior year (although preference may be given to applicants who complete the required courses sooner)
- Apply during fall of senior year
Tests:
Usually none, but check the Association of Chiropractic Colleges website.
Application Service:
- Chiropractic Centralized Application Service (ChiroCAS)
- Schools not participating in ChiroCAS: apply directly to school
- APPLY EARLY! Do not wait until application deadline.
