Physical Therapy

Messiah University's Early Assurance Program (EAP) provides opportunity for up to ten students each year to obtain guaranteed acceptance into Messiah’s Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program during their senior year of high school. Students accepted into this program will receive their bachelor’s degree from Messiah University and transition to Messiah’s School of Graduate Studies to earn their Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

There are two pre-physical therapy options at Messiah University: 1) Messiah offers a pre-physical therapy concentration, offered as part of its applied health science major, to prepare students to apply to a doctor of physical therapy program OR 2) Students may work with a specialized pre-physical therapy advisor—within a major of their choosing—to ensure successful completion of both the requirements for their major as well as the requirements for applying to a doctor of physical therapy program.
