On Service Day April 14, Messiah College hosts the Area M Special Olympics at Starry Athletic Complex. Students and staffers volunteer to be ‘buddies’ who accompany athletes to the designated events. In addition to the Special Olympics, many service projects are available on and off campus, including opportunities at the Community Garden, Dear Valley Camp, Caitlin Smiles, the Joshua Center and many other places.
