2016 Engle Award presented

On. Jan. 24, the Engle Service Award was given to Charlie and Miriam Byers, both from the Class of 1956 of Messiah Junior College, for their distinguished service. The couple met as students and continued a life of service to Messiah. Charlie Byers joined the Board of Trustees in the 1980s, serving for 30 years. The couple also launched the Charles and Miriam Byers Fund for Peace Studies, which promotes peacemaking and peace studies at Messiah College.
